Administration

Oversees administrative operations. The place to go for commonly requested services such as getting a police or accident report, getting your car back if it's been towed, or to claim confiscated property. Fingerprinting services for residents and Edina Public School employees are also available.

Animal Control

For questions about animal care, animal ordinances or to report an animal violation. Information on dog licenses.

Crime Prevention

Provides many crime prevention services and programs.

Dispatch

Coordinates responses for public safety services from the Police, Fire and Public Works departments.

SWAT

The Special Weapons And Tactics (SWAT) team is a group of ten police officers and four paramedics who respond to high risk situations.

Investigations

Responsible for the investigation and preparation of cases for prosecution.

K-9s

The canines are schooled in agility, obedience, tracking, criminal apprehension and handlerprotection.

Patrol Division

Comprised of 39 officers, who patrol the city's 16 square miles.
